Biography
On April 17th 1972, Jennifer Anne Garner was born to parents Bill and Pat in Houston, Texas. She has two sisters, one older named Melissa and a younger sister named Suzannah.
She soon found herself in Charleston, West Virginia a small town with a population of around only 50,000. She soon set to work getting her career going, entering in and winning her school talent show.
At high school Jennifer expanded her activities including swimming, learning to play the saxophone and taking dance lessons. She continued with her performing activities too though working on more behind-the-scenes tasks.
She graduated George Washington High School in 1990 and headed to Denison University where she went to study chemistry but soon found herself working towards a degree in theatre.
After graduating, Jennifer decided she wanted to get straight into working so she went to New York and soon found herself with a part in the Broadway production of A Month in the Country.
Her next move was into movies or at least into TV movies, appearing in Zoya. Always on the expansion she then moved into getting spots in TV series including Spin City and Law & Order.
The movies continued when in 1998, she scored a lead in the Fox drama Significant Others though it latest less than a year. Thankfully she followed this up with a more successful role in Felicity and married her co-star Scott Foley in 2000. Sadly the relationship ended in divorce four years later.
2000 was a great year for Jennifer for more than Scott however. It was the year she landed the role of Sydney as Alias earning her a Golden Globe among other awards and rocketing her to fame.
Her movie career also carried on strong with roles in Dude where's my car?, Pearl Harbour, Daredevil and moving on to starring roles in 13 going on 30 and Elektra.
