FHM's 100 sexiest women 2005
What annoyed me when researching this article was the inconsistency between the different websites that had published the results. It soon clicked though that the US and UK have different results. The fact is though that FHM is a British magazine and I'll be taking this as the definitive result ;).
Not that any have them have been accurate since 1999. Back in the good old days when Sarah Michelle Gellar took her crown. That said I didn't start reading until 2000 but have followed the results since then. There has been some interesting moves and results though one thing always remain the same - I vote for Lara Croft! We will get her a good result one day; no one can resist the power of the nerds.

I take it that it was the US that has Britney missing from the list - the UK has no such problems, Brit managed 6th. The year’s winner was Kelly Brook however who always does well in the UK list - with good reason.
Cheryl Tweedy came in second, run a Yahoo images search for her and you will find out why. What am I saying, use our site! You should never use anyone else’s ;). As for third, that honor went to Angelina Jolie. Again with good reason, we sure as hell didn't go to the cinema because Tomb Raider had a great storyline.

Rachel Stevens is down in 13th, she is clearly fading from the spotlight. Shame really as she really is hot. It's good to see Katie Holmes up reasonably high (25th), she isn't particularly revealing in photo shots which is never a good thing in these competitions but she is definitely beautiful.
Now for people I don't think should be up there. First of all the hoer patrol (ok I can't spell, I admit it). Headed up by Christina Aguilera who is in 20th. Also Abi Titmuss managed to make it into 7th. It's not right. Charlotte Church in 10th, WTF? I don't get the obsession.

Being a loyal Sarah Michelle Gellar fan, seeing her down in 51st is not too pleasing. To pick out some more results randomly: Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) made it in at a respectable 43rd. Is it really fair that The Olsen Twins get classed as one? They managed 46th. Avril just made the cut in 98th and Mischa Barton made it in despite the fact everyone seems to hate her on The O.C.
So overall it hasn't been the best year. There are too many people in these days that are just not that good looking. But I guess it’s about sex appeal and I doubt I will be complaining once I get my full colour magazine.
