I admit, celebrity relationships have never been a rock solid bed. But then, at least we had Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Now we don't even have that anymore. But these days, the span of a relationship is way smaller - indeed, some are broken down before they have even began. And many relationships don't even exist. They appear to be pure fiction of the media.
So let's take a look at some case studies. Brad Pitt. He's been dating Angelina Jolie for months and we all know it but they have finally come out and made their first public appearance, I believe it was last weekend. But it was around last weekend that rumours began that Brad was already cheating on Angie - with non other than ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. I mean, come on.
Case example two - Lindsay Lohan and Jared Leto. Stories have been stalking the media for days now that Jared was caught cheating on Lindsay with some cute but as far as I know, unknown blonde. But the thing is - they aren't even officially dating though even if they were there was none of this evidence crap from what I have read.
Then there is the eternal question of Jessica Simpson and husband Nick Lachey. They have been divorocing for, well basically, forever. Every few months at least one of the US tabloids runs a bit story entitled "split!" about them. It's never been true, they are still together. Now there are even stories flying around that Jess is pregnant to save her marriage.
I can go on. Britney Spears and husband Kevin. There are all stories about them splitting up and Britney gettting divorce advice. Yet when they took at trip to New York they seemed ok. How do you explain that? Just to point out, that question is aimed at the news sources who I realise probably aren't reading this but I think it gets my point across.
So are celebrity relationships even more fickle than they were before? Well not really no. Mainly because it's all BS. Nick and Jess are still together. Britney and Kevin are still together. Katie and Tom are still together. All have had countless allegations thrown at them. Conclusion. Don't believe it - unless it comes from us ;).
